I just read Warren Ellis’s Crecy and it is bloody brilliant. It’s the story of  the titular battle as told by an English longbowman who breaks the fourth wall in his narration that  uses modern language to communicate the spirit of Medieval ideas and philosophy. Plus it’s amazingly accurate from a historical standpoint and a bit funny to boot. Overall, a great comic book that I’d recommend to anyone,
